Analysis of silicone hose at high temperature and low temperature
When some customers inquire about our silicone tubes, they will ask whether your silicone tubes are resistant to high temperatures (above 200°C) or whether they are resistant to low temperatures (below -20°C). Ordinary ordinary silicone hoses are not resistant to high and low temperatures. Only specially made silicone hoses are resistant to high and low temperatures. Can the high temperature resistant silicone hose work at high temperature (above 200°C) all the time? Can the low temperature resistant silicone hose work at low temperature (below -20°C)?
The silicone hose can work at a high temperature of 300°C or a low temperature of -70°C for a short period of time without affecting performance. But if you work for a long time, it will inevitably destroy the molecular structure of the silicone tubing and damage the silicone tube. This is why it is said that the limit temperature of the silicone tube is -70 to 300°C.
The answer is definitely not, for example, the human safety voltage is 36V. In a short period of time, 36V voltage has no harm to the human body, and it is also possible to get an electric shock if exposed to 24V voltage for a long time. The principle of the silicone tube is the same as this.
Some customers may misunderstand that it can work at a temperature of -70 to 300 ℃ all the time. However, the editor suggests that the silicone tube should not work above 200°C for a long time at high temperature or below -20°C for a long time at low temperature.
